Alhaji Suleiman Barau attended the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He also attended University of Bradford, England and the University of Jos where he obtained Postgraduate Certificate in Planning and Appraisal of Industrial Projects and an M.SC in Economics (Money and Finance) respectively. A respected Banker and Economist, he began his working career with the Nigerian Mining Corporation as a Civil Servant in 1981 where he rose to the position of Principal Economist. During his employment with the Nigerian Mining Corporation, Suleiman conducted marketing and economic studies that led to the production of several mineral raw materials. Suleiman was appointed to the Board of CBN as the Deputy Governor, Operations on the 13th of December, 2007. He has attended and facilitated several courses and conferences both at home and abroad. He is a Railway enthusiast and enjoys Soccer and Geography. He is married with children.
Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor is the Country Manager of Google Nigeria, leading Google’s strategy and business growth in the country. Under her leadership, the Google team has made significant impact in local content development, infrastructure deployment, and digital capacity building. She has also actively contributed to developing national strategies for the acceleration of inclusive broadband growth. She was part of the national committee that developed Nigeria’s broadband plan in 2013. She also played a key role in the development of the ICT incubation strategy resulting in the development of IDEAHub and others.
Juliet holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School, and a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, UK; She is a recipient of the London Business School Global Women’s Scholarship, and at Cambridge University was awarded Selwyn College Scholar and Malaysian commonwealth Scholar. She is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society.

Shola Adekoya joined Konga.com as the pioneer CFO and is currently the Interim CEO and COO. Shola has a strong passion for Entrepreneurship, New technology, Operational efficiency and Finance. He has over 16 years of work experience and prior to joining Konga.com, he managed the planning and budgeting function of Etisalat Nigeria and a pineapple farm. Before that, he worked in the UK in various industries that include Telecommunications, Transportation, National Security, Healthcare, Warehousing, Retail and Wholesale. Shola is a well-rounded business executive and holds an MBA from Cranfield University. He is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from London South Bank University
Sefik Bagdadioglu has been serving as the Managing Director of Kaymu Nigeria since August 2015. An avid economist and entrepreneur, he has lived in Turkey, Canada, Tanzania, and Kenya. Bagdadioglu comes from a background in Management Consulting and Start-ups. Prior to joining Kaymu, he worked at Monitor Deloitte, Deloitte Canada’s strategy consulting arm. He also holds an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto.
The Managing Director, Mr. Obinna Ekezie, leads the management team of Wakanow.com. He studied Mechanical Engineering and Business at the University of Maryland. He also completed the IBM Total Quality Management business program and he is the co-founder of ByMobilePhone Ltd, a wireless access service provider to mobile networks and the exclusive distributor of ESPN and CNN mobile content in Nigeria. Obinna is an accomplished professional basketball player. He was drafted into the National Basketball Association in 1999 by the Vancouver Grizzlies and played in the NBA for five years prior to returning to Nigeria to explore other opportunities.

He is best described as a seasoned banker with over 25 years hands-on experience in Information Technology management and deployment, Operations and Business Process management. His robust career has also led him into various aspects of E-business Marketing, Special Products development and deployment, Risk management, and a diverse compendium of Project Management duties. Chidi also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Management (IESE), Barcelona, Spain.
Mr Umeano has attended several management development programs including Operations Management at the Harvard Business School, the Senior Management Program of the Lagos Business School and the Executive Development program at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.

Omokehinde Adebanjo is the Vice President & Area Business Head for West Africa, MasterCard. Based in Nigeria, Omoke is responsible for advancing acceptance and issuance of MasterCard’s payment products in Nigeria and other English-speaking countries in West Africa.
Prior to her appointment as Area Business Head, Omoke fulfilled the role of Vice President for Business Development in the West African region.
Before joining MasterCard, Omoke was employed by the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), where she spent four years as the Head of Cards and Product Development. Prior to GTBank, she worked at Econet (now known as Airtel).
She holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
Omoke is committed to introducing the benefits of a cashless society to Nigeria and the region, and focuses on building relationships with government, financial institutions and merchants to realise both MasterCard’s vision of a world beyond cash, and the Central Bank of Nigeria’s goals to reduce the circulation of cash in the country’s economy.

As an IT guru, Bassey started his first business venture, an IT company at the age of 21 and has since become a formidable force in the African IT and Enterprise Business Solutions space. Mr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi, holds double Masters Degree respectively in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering, from University of Lagos. He is a resourceful Information Technology-driven banker with over 22 years professional experience.
Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director NIBSS PLC, Mr. Shonubi was Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc; a member of the Board of Union Homes and Director, Information Technology and Corporate Services in Renaissance Securities Nigeria limited, with responsibility for the Group’s IT infrastructure in Africa
Mr. Shonubi also had a stint with Citibank Nigeria Limited as its Head, Treasury Operations (1990-1993). Between 1999 and 2007, he worked in MBC International as Deputy General Manager and supervised their IT operational platforms. He served in First City Monument Bank Limited as Vice – President and in Ecobank Nigeria Limited as Executive Director.
He has served on a number of sub-committees of the Bankers’ Committee, including the Ethics and Professionalism sub-committee.

Mr. Valentine Obi is the Managing Director of eTranzact International PLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, a Masters degree in Computer Information System and an MBA from the prestigious Instituto de Empressa, Spain. He is also an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Obi has an extensive experience in Information Technology and has served in various capacities both locally and internationally. He developed and designed the 2003 Computerworld Honors award winning e-business platform of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). Also, as the Project Director for the World Bank assisted project of Oyo State Valuation Office where he was directly involved in the design and implementation of a property valuation and management information system for the State.

Over twenty years experience in banking – last eight years of which was spent in Retail Banking. Left banking in Dec. 2010 as a Deputy General Manager and resumed at Glo in January 2011. Focus in Telebanking includes – not limited to, Mobile Money Transfer. a desk set up to provide platform for Mobile Money license holders to improve financial inclusion. Nigeria today has an estimated population of 150mm and total bank accounts of 23mm whilst mobile telephone penetration is 83mm.
Joined Banking Industry again as Head, Cards & EBanking. Presently the Chairman of Committee of e-Banking Industry Heads in Nigeria (CeBIH), also Chairman of Mobile Payments Board Scheme – appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and by extension, a member of the Payment System Strategy Board – the pinnacle body in Nigeria responsible for shaping and implementing the payment systems in Nigeria in tandem with PSV 2020. After some years of experience as the director of Institut für Dermatoglypik he founded in 1995 the DERMALOG company in Hamburg, which is specialized as a leading manufacturer of AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems) and fingerprint biometrics for documents and national ID projects, with over 70 large-scale national installations around the world today.

Ade is an 18 year bankcard veteran with experience across both mature and developing markets. As Country Manager, he heads the Lagos office that oversees Visa’s operations in West Africa.
Ade has spent the last 8 years overseeing the relationship between Visa and some of Africa’s largest banks in both West and South Africa.
Prior to this he managed the Strategic Processing unit for Visa CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa), based in London and, for many years, led a business improvement consulting team. Ade is a holder of a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Surrey, UK
